  • "I began working with Clare at the start of a new performative project - one that required highly-intense physicality, within a violent and darkly staged environment. Through the constant practice of the work, I began to sense an inspiring cross-fade between the character and myself. An artistic friction; the method to investigate into the work further. While the rewards of experiencing new facets of myself were exciting, it began to become difficult to manage within the play of it all. Clare began the guidance for this work together. And together, was where the work manifested.  In many ways, what I brought to Clare, was just the start. In her unwavering dedication, and fearless persistence, Clare offered conversations through action. Through seemingly simple physical actions, the physicality encouraged emotive tributaries to emerge. The meeting point of these physical and emotive releases would then be located in the body -  like a nest.
